peanut butter & banana protein waffles

“Need a protein packed breakfast to get you through your busy morning or to refuel after a workout? This waffle is one of my favorite morning staples and can be topped with anything!” – Constance
ingredients
- ¼ cup whole grain pancake mix of choice
- 3 tbsp mashed banana
- 1 organic egg (or a vegan alternative)
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- 1 ½ tbsp chocolate plant-based protein powder
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- ¼ cup unsweetened nut milk
toppings
- peanut butter
- bananas
- maple syrup
- omega booster seeds
- dried fruit
directions
- Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
- Give the waffle maker a little spray before adding the batter.
- Cook until lightly browned.
- Decorate with your toppings and enjoy!
