peanut butter & banana protein waffles

“Need a protein packed breakfast to get you through your busy morning or to refuel after a workout? This waffle is one of my favorite morning staples and can be topped with anything!” – Constance

ingredients

  • ¼ cup whole grain pancake mix of choice
  • 3 tbsp mashed banana
  • 1 organic egg (or a vegan alternative)
  • 1 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp chocolate plant-based protein powder
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • ¼ cup unsweetened nut milk

toppings

directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together until smooth.
  2. Give the waffle maker a little spray before adding the batter.
  3. Cook until lightly browned.
  4. Decorate with your toppings and enjoy!
